Bollywood star Rani Mukerji dedicated her Saturday to spending time with children battling cancer in Mumbai. Partnering with the Cancer Patients Aid Association, Rani marked World Rose Day, which goals to boost awareness about cancer and show support for patients and their families.
Rani shared special moments with the children, cutting a cake and even taking a ride with them in an open bus because the Bandra-Worli Sea Link was lit up in red. She expressed her gratitude, saying, “I’m thankful to be a part of this event. These children are true heroes, and I consider more celebrities should join such causes to spread love and support.”
She encouraged everyone to present their time and like to cancer patients, as it might provide strength and hope. Rani also hinted that she can be open to raising awareness about cancer through her work in movies if the chance arises.
