Mick Jagger’s Partner Melanie Hamrick Shrugs Off Their 44-12 months Age Gap

Mick Jagger‘s partner, Melanie Hamrick, has chosen to pay no attention to those that have a difficulty with the 44-year age gap between her and the legendary singer.

The previous dancer continued, “Mick is the right balance. He is not a ballet dancer but he’s a dancer and a performer, and we understand one another’s worlds, yet we’re not in one another’s worlds.”

In June 2023, Hamrick shared her thoughts on walking down the aisle with Jagger, months after she first sparked wedding rumors with a diamond ring on her finger.

“I mean, I actually have to giggle because did Mick give me the ring? Yes. Is it for that finger? Yes,” she said. “But are we like, horny teenagers where we’re giving one another… In my mind, it is a promise ring. We’ll be immature and call it a promise ring.”

Hamrick also shared her tackle tying the knot with Jagger on the time. “I do not know,” she said. “I’m type of like, a live-in-the-moment kind of person, so who knows.”

She also spoke about her book and shared that Jagger was so supportive as she worked on the novel and offered feedback to her.

“At first, I let him read loads because I used to be coming up with ideas. Writing a song is comparable, and now in my mind I’m like, ‘How did he fit all of it in five minutes? That is crazy,'” she said. “He was incredibly supportive from the start after which after the primary draft was done I used to be like, ‘OK, you are going to must wait for it to come back out. You could have to purchase a duplicate.'”

It wasn’t pulled from my personal stories,” she told People Magazine of the book on the time. “I believe it’s pulled from many individuals’s experiences and what I witnessed over time. You are watching the show, but within the wings, it’s all madness — craziness and quick-change booths.”

Hamrick, who has been an avid reader since childhood, then shared how she began writing novels.

“Ballet’s so romantic and sexy,” she said. “[Writing about it] was actually therapeutic in a way. I had retired probably about six months before I began writing, and I had been venturing more into choreography while I used to be pondering, ‘What do I need to do after ballet?’ After which when Covid hit and the theaters all shut down, choreography wasn’t really an option.”
