Jake Paul claimed Conor McGregor is afraid of him after last win
While Paul has been calling out McGregor for years, he has rarely been acknowledged by the Irishman unless directly asked. He began his quest for a fight with the two-weight UFC champion in November of 2020 after knocking out Nate Robinson, and has continued his calls at a lower volume since.
Following his win over Perry, he claimed that McGregor was afraid to fight him. He made the claim that the prospect of losing within the ring to a former Disney Channel star was an excessive amount of for a legendary fighter like him.
“He was big upping his boy Mike Perry,” Paul told the media after stopping the BKFC star. “I said, ‘OK Conor, after I f*** up Mike Perry, you then’re next. So Conor’s on Twitter on a regular basis. He’s on his yacht on a regular basis.
“Guess where he’s not? Within the ring, fighting me. So he can talk all of the f*** he wants, but ‘The Notorious MMA’ is afraid of Jake Joseph Paul from Disney channel. And I put that on my mama.”
