Steven Spielberg, the American filmmaker who many would consider to be one among the best directors alive, having been accountable for steering critically acclaimed movies that include Jaws (1975), Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), and, after all, Jurassic Park (1993), is a PC gamer, in response to recent comments that Max Spielberg, his eldest son, shared during a recent interview with Minnmax. Max, who has various credits within the games industry, including game designer for Assassin’s Creed Unity, mentioned that his father’s favorite series is Call of Duty and that he “can’t do controllers,” preferring keyboard and mouse.

Max Spielberg said:

  • “He loves gaming, he’s the one which got me into it. He plays games, he’s an enormous PC gamer and in order that’s type of our bonding point as well.”
  • “He’s like ‘hey what’s good, what recent Call of Duty should I be playing, send me an inventory of the highest five shooters, I’ll get ’em downloaded and we will play ’em together whenever you come over to the home.’”
  • “It’s all the time a Call of Duty…he loves Call of Duty, he enjoys the campaign. He’s big into story games and I’m all the time attempting to get him to play Uncharted, y’know, ‘it’s Indiana Jones, you’d appreciate this’, and he’s all the time ‘I can’t do controllers, I only do keyboard and mouse.’”

The unique word from Spielberg’s son:

A recent report regarding Steven Spielberg’s next project:

…sources tell Deadline Oscar-nominated actor Colman Domingo is in early talks to hitch the untitled film from Spielberg, Amblin and Universal. Domingo joins a solid that features Emily Blunt, Colin Firth and Eve Hewson. The pic relies on a story by Spielberg and has the filmmaker’s longtime collaborator David Koepp penning the script.

Universal has dated the film for May 15, 2026, landing it in the summertime tentpole zone Spielberg practically created many years ago with such movies as Jaws and Raiders of the Lost Ark. It could mark his fist major summer release in quite a while.
