Prime Video has shared the official trailer for the upcoming live motion Like a Dragon: Yakuza series. The primary three episodes will debut in over 240 countries and territories worldwide on October 24 and star Ryoma Takeuchi as Kazuma Kiryu and Kento Kaku as Akira Nishikiyama. Directing the series is the critically acclaimed Masaharu Take, known for 100 Yen Love, Eden, and The Gun. The trailer shows numerous promise, which might give Prime Video one other great video game adaptation following the success of Fallout.
Like a Dragon: Yakuza is an adaptation of Sega’s successful Like a Dragon series, previously often known as Yakuza. The show follows Kazuma Kiryu and appears to be based on the unique 2005 Yakuza game. Those that have played the games may even recognize Goro Majima within the trailer, who’s the essential character within the upcoming Like a Dragon game, Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
