Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. returned to motion for All Elite Wrestling on the fifth anniversary of AEW Dynamite after being gone since losing to Mercedes Mone at AEW All In London on August twenty fifth.
As tonight’s episode took place on the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—aka, in Brittsburgh—Baker was given the hometown hero treatment despite all of the controversy and criticism surrounding her name as of late.
With the fans in attendance sporting their traditional yellow Terrible Towels to rally support for her—save for AEW women’s world champion Mariah May, who was ringside and overlooking the motion—Baker was capable of secure a victory over Serena Deeb by submission together with her Lockjaw finisher.
Deeb went after Baker following the match, just for Queen Aminata to make the save.
Queen Aminata kept Serena Deeb from dealing everlasting damage to Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.!
