Because of Atlus, I’ve been spending all my free time this week exploring the world of Metaphor: ReFantazio ahead of its release, and I’m looking forward to spending dozens of hours this weekend exploring the UK of Euchronia. Officially released today, Metaphor: ReFantazio is already Atlus’s fastest-selling game ever as the corporate has confirmed the sport surpassed a million units sold worldwide. This overtakes the previous record holder from earlier this 12 months, Persona 3 Reload, which sold a million units in its first week.
Available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Metaphor: ReFantazio is currently the second best-selling game on Steam and reached a peak of 61,969 concurrent players on the time of publication. The sport comes from the creators of Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5 and builds on all of those games’ foundations. While I still have many more hours to go in the sport before I publish a review, Metaphor: ReFantazio has to this point surpassed my expectations, which were already high, because it was one in every of my most anticipated games of the 12 months.
For many who aren’t sure if the gameplay is for them, there’s a really generous demo available on all platforms.
