Mass Effect 5 (or Mass Effect 4, for players who don’t consider Mass Effect: Andromeda to be an element of the mainline series) is not going to only maintain the mature tone of the unique trilogy, which comprises Mass Effect (2007), Mass Effect 2 (2010), and Mass Effect 3 (2012), but additionally photorealistic visuals, in line with the most recent word from Michael Gamble, project director and executive producer at BioWare. The news comes nearly 4 years after BioWare released a teaser trailer for what it simply dubbed “the subsequent Mass Effect,” delivering some CG footage that suggested the return of a couple of fan-favorite characters, including Liara T’Soni and Commander Shepard. Here’s the unique word from Gamble, who clarified that he has no additional news to share in the mean time ahead of Mass Effect Day (November 7):
Regarding tone questions: Mass Effect will maintain the mature tone of the unique Trilogy. That is all I’m gonna say for now.
