If a pre-fight lie detector test is to be believed, even Jake Paul isn’t so sure that he’ll survive his next challenge.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer faces legendary boxing champion Mike Tyson on November 15, and will probably be moving as much as heavyweight for the clash. While many fans feel that his youth and activity should make him a favourite for the bout, Tyson will probably be the most important puncher he has ever faced at an unfamiliar weight class.
Nonetheless, it appears that evidently even Paul himself isn’t certain that he can get the job done, based on a lie detector he recently underwent along with his brother Logan Paul. The pair asked one another questions, with a clip from the session resurfacing on social media today.
Jake Paul appears to be caught in a lie when predicting Mike Tyson fight
In a YouTube video posted a number of months ago, which reappeared during a social clip from Most Worthwhile Promotions today, Jake Paul was placed on a lie detector and examined by his brother Logan. He answered a variety of questions, after having previously turned the tables.
And maybe essentially the most intriguing a part of the exercise got here when Logan asked him if he legitimately feels he’ll beat Tyson after they fight. Jake replied “Yeah,” to which the test returned a negative response indicating he had lied.
He then admitted that he’s “nervous” and bordered on admitting that he was scared before stopping himself, after which told his brother: “I feel I’m going to, I don’t know, it’s going to be tough. It’s going to be tough.”
Jake Paul confirms Mike Tyson fight isn’t rigged in lie detector challenge
Logan asked his sibling a variety of questions surrounding the fight, including whether or not the age gap will play a major role within the end result. Jake is 27-years-old and an energetic 10-1 boxer, while Tyson last competed as an expert in 2005 and is 58-years-old, along with his last exhibition coming in 2020.
The younger Paul replied that he feels it won’t be a difficulty, explaining: “I feel Mike is a killer at any age,” and received the green light to point truth. When his brother noted that he was sweating throughout the exercise, he agreed, and noted that he ‘doesn’t like this’.
He was then asked if the fight was rigged, to which he replied: “Absolutely not, that’s a federal crime”. That was also proven to be true, silencing doubters concerning the legitimacy of the bout which has been professionally sanctioned within the state of Texas.
Lie detector proves Logan Paul doesn’t think Jake beats Mike Tyson
When the lie detector was initially attached to Logan, he was asked a variety of sillier questions. These included asking if he’s tied to the illuminati or if he could return to their infamous YouTube feud of 2018 would he still write diss tracks about his sibling.
And while Logan did admit that he feels Jake would beat his former rival and current business partner KSI, the test declared him to be lying when he said he feels that his sibling will beat Tyson.
Regarding KSI, he joked that Jake was ‘f***ing his life up’, but admitted that the scale difference between the pair can be an excessive amount of. The Misfits Boxing boss has fought as little as 175lb, while Jake is reportedly over 230lb for his bout with Tyson.
“Bro, it’s to not say he isn’t a superb boxer,” he protested, as Jake lauded the incontrovertible fact that he had got the admission out and branded his rival ‘soft’. “No, I mean, he’s my partner I’m just saying, you’re 230lb in the meanwhile, he’s 180lb, it’s not even fair, bro.”
