Almost every week faraway from his rematch against Charles Oliveira at UFC 309, Charles Oliveira has admitted that he’s within the worst pain he has ever been in.

Since joining the UFC in 2021, Michael Chandler has been involved in some historic wars against the likes of Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje, and now Charles Oliveira.

The 38-year-old was hopeful that with a win over ‘Do Bronx’ at UFC 309, he would finally give you the chance to compete for the undisputed lightweight title but he once more fell short.

“I peed blood, inflammation throughout my whole body is swollen. Recent York (commission) drug tested me right before the fight after which after the fight, so it had a lightweight tint (of blood), after which the second was like beetroot-looking juice,” he continued.

Despite losing, Chandler was still afforded the chance to talk to Joe Rogan within the Octagon following the fight.

With that, the all-action lightweight reverted back to Conor McGregor and once more called the Irishman out for his comeback fight.

Nevertheless, the 38-year-old also briefly touched on a possible BMF title fight against Max Holloway but since UFC 309, fans have posed a fantasy matchup between Holloway and Oliveira now that ‘Blessed’ has announced his move as much as 155lbs.

“I feel me and Conor at International Fight Week is the subsequent fight, that’s what I’m throwing on the market, I feel June or July. I got to see what’s up with the body at once but I’ll refer to Hunter (Campbell) in the subsequent couple of days,” Chandler added.

Within the UFC 309 post-fight press conference, UFC CEO Dana White stated that he doesn’t think ‘The Notorious’ will return till late next 12 months if he does in any respect.
