The actor reportedly made a mouthwatering profit on the sale after he purchased it for $4 million over 10 years ago and even spent one other $5.5 million on renovations.

The Los Angeles mansion comprises 6-bedroom and 9-bathrooms and sits 8,000-square-foot. It’s a mid-century Zen retreat that boasts a gourmet kitchen, an expensive primary suite with canyon views, Fleetwood doors for seamless indoor/outdoor living, and a resort-style pool with waterfalls.

Renner made significant memories on the Laurel Canyon Oasis home, where he recuperated from a near-fatal snowplow accident in Reno, Nevada, and likewise raised his daughter Ava, per TMZ.

Renner had plans to spend an extended time within the property as The Blast gathered from a previous interview, which was why he splurged tens of millions in renovation.

Beyond that, the mansion’s structure made it a love at first sight for him. Renner explained that he was drawn to the bungalow for its unique architectural charm and was captivated by the world’s tight-knit feel, noting that many residents had lived there since childhood.

“You sometimes do not get plenty of neighborly love in Los Angeles,” he said, in line with the WSJ, before adding, “This was a beautiful little micro-community.” The renovation got here with him expanding the house to greater than double its initial size while preserving its original Midcentury flavor.

As a musician and songwriter, he also built a custom music studio for the property, which Lizzo will now get to enjoy. Renner installed solar panels that now provide around 90% of the home’s energy needs.

On why that they had to be done, Renner explained: “I did all that stuff because I used to be going to remain there,” he said. “It was form of a ceaselessly home.”

Despite the house affording him the golden opportunity to spend more time together with his lovable daughter after school resulting from the proximity to his house, Renner noted that it was high time the house became another person’s. “I would like to form of move on to other things,” he revealed.

After wrapping up the most recent season of “Mayor of Kingstown,” Renner is locked in on latest projects, including working on a book about his harrowing near-death experience and recovery.

On the reason behind his accident, official reports shared that the  parking brake was poorly engaged “and would have stopped the snowcat vehicle, which runs on a track, because it began sliding sideways after the 52-year-old ‘Avengers’ star used it to drag his nephew’s truck out of snow.”

The Pistenbully snow groomer reportedly began sliding and caused Renner to “exit the vehicle without setting the emergency brake.” While it was established that the Pistenbully had some preexisting mechanical issues, it’s believed that the parking brake would have stopped it from moving forward.

Renner selected to see the positive side to his scary experience when he appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” He confessed that he was “pretty banged up” from the near-fatal accident, which left him with 38 broken bones and a leg composed mainly of metal.

“It was brutal, dude,” Renner recalled, but despite the pain he endured and the injuries he suffered from, he described the accident as an experience with “wonderful lessons.”

“I mean, I can go on and on about what happened for the 45 minutes of being on the ice,” the actor began, “but the true learning lessons from it — there are such a lot of great gifts of being tested to your limits, right? Your physical limits, your spiritual limits, emotional limits.” Renner told the host, Fallon:

The doting dad, as reported by The Blast, confessed in one other interview that his accident encouraged him to start living life without the fear of dying.

“Because I used to be never afraid, mind you, of death prior. Now, I’m really not afraid of it. Now, I’m double downing. Yes, definitely not afraid of it. Now, I’m form of excited for it “he declared.

The 53-year-old explained that since his close shave with death, he realized that most of the emotions and problems on the earth are unnecessary. He shared his latest philosophy about life with a really witty speech, saying:

“To be honest, it’s what life really is. This rock that we’re spinning on and this body and this language that we’re speaking and all these feelings and emotions and conflict is all horse s—. It’s meaningless within the scheme of things. Just saying…”

Hopefully, Lizzo loves the house as much as Jeremy Renner did!
