Matt Cardona Injured At ROH Final Battle 2024, Pulled From GCW Event

Matt Cardona has been pulled from tonight’s GCW ‘Take Kare’ event as a consequence of an ankle injury he suffered on the ROH Final Battle 2024 pay-per-view event. Cardona wrote,

“Sorry…I won’t be on this GCW show tonight in Seattle.

I tousled my ankle last weekend at ROH.

It’s not serious and I’m feeling a lot better…but I feel it’s smart to let it rest for one more week and begin off 2025 HOT!”

Cardona was set to face Super Crazy at tonight’s show.

Will Ospreay says RevPro founder Andy Quildan has helped him grow as an individual throughout his profession.

In the course of the “RevPro: How To Start A Revolution” documentary, Ospreay commented on how Quildan has helped him mature and learn from his mistakes. He said,

“I feel like there are so over and over that I drop the ball, and I’m aware that I drop the ball. And having to come back back to RevPro with my tail between my legs, having to prove myself, not only to the wrestlers, but to fans, and to Andy, because Andy’s the one which got me over to Recent Japan in the primary place.”

He continued, “There’s so over and over that I feel like I’d let him down, whether it was… from anything that I did on social media to even attitude backstage. So he’s allowed me to, simply to grow up, I feel like he’s allowed me to be a young man in wrestling and slowly mature.”
