AEW Dynamite made an unexpected change for its first episode of 2025 by utilizing The Pointer Sisters’ 1982 dance-pop hit “I’m So Excited” as its recent theme song.
The song, from their album So Excited!, became considered one of the group’s most iconic tracks and is understood for its upbeat vibe. This move comes as AEW celebrates the milestone of simulcasting the show on TBS and Max.
AEW President Tony Khan took to Twitter to comment on the brand new theme song, writing:
