Married at First Sight wedding anniversaries aren’t alleged to be this dramatic.
In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek of the Tuesday, January 7, episode of the Lifetime reality series, the forged comes together to have a good time one month of marriage.
As a substitute of raising a glass to like and happiness, nevertheless, Emem, 34, and Ikechi, 41, clearly have some issues they should work out in front of the entire group.
“My husband calls me an a—— on our one month anniversary, I don’t have much,” Emem tells Juan and the complete forged. “I don’t have much to offer.”
While Ikechi sits quietly on the dinner table, Emem explains why she’s so upset together with her husband of nearly 4 weeks.
“Call me an a—— for being MIA? You said you needed space and time,” she says. “I used to be texting you. I called you. You probably did not answer and you then show up today on this joker ass suit. I’m done. You’re wild for this. I’ve been texting you and calling you for 2 f—ing days.”
After Ikechi denies his wife’s claims that she’s been attempting to contact him, Emem can’t help but get slightly louder.
“You’re f—ing lying,” she shouts before Karla and the opposite ladies ask her to go to the lavatory in hopes of calming down.
Before she will catch her breath and officially leave the table, Emem has one final insult for her husband.
“F—ing clown,” she states for all to listen to. “Bring me a clown, you’re going to get a circus.”
Viewers met Emem and Ikechi throughout the season 18 premiere of Married at First Sight in October 2024. On the time, each parties were hopeful that the show’s experts — including Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Calvin Roberson and Dr. Pia Holec — could match them with their perpetually partner.
Emem was introduced as an open-minded woman not fascinated about wasting time dating around. As for Ikechi, he was credited as a person who did the work to work out who he’s and what he wants.
As a part of the Married at First Sight experiment, each parties agreed to let Lifetime cameras follow them for eight weeks as they experience the highs and lows of marriage.
On Decision Day — or the show’s season finale — Emem and Ikechi will resolve in the event that they wish to stay married or break up.
