Google’s latest Search Labs experiment delivers each day audio news updates

First reported by 9to5Google, Every day Listen is a synthetic intelligence-powered audio experiment that appears within the Space carousel underneath the search bar at the highest of the Google app on Android and iOS. Tapping on the Every day Listen card then takes users to a full-screen player where they will take heed to a five-minute audio overview of stories and topics they follow.

Every day Listen reportedly shows a text transcript with cover art and offers users the flexibility to regulate playback, including play/pause, 10-second rewind, next story, playback speed and mute. The mute option is for users who would favor to simply read the transcript. At the underside, users are also shown related stories and are given the choice to look for more.

The brand new feature has reportedly began rolling out to users within the U.S. today, but there should not many reports of individuals having the ability to gain access to it as yet.
