Initially, I assumed it was a personality clash. The timeline, because it got here this week, appeared to illustrate to me that the activated intensity around it on Friday didn’t have anything to do with any teammates, but perhaps the organization got to a degree where it said, we just should go.
that that game Thursday was rough. The actual fact how they lost, how they lost. , Miller just didn’t seem himself to say the least. He played great on Saturday night. Friedman: “I mean, it’s a tricky one for me to ask. Like, , someone said to me, , yesterday, , do you ever get bored with talking about all these items? And the reply is yes, but in case you think I get bored with it, you may only imagine how the people who find themselves directly involved feel about it, right?
Look, I believe I assumed it was really interesting, , a few like, last time I did the telethon, sorry, two years ago, did the telethon. , we interviewed Natalie Miller as a part of the telethon, and, , you remember the the Instagram videos last 12 months, like there was an actual love affair between Miller and town. And I saw it like some people were sending me posts on X on Saturday night. I assume when Miller left the sport after they beat the Oilers, he rolled down his window and took pictures with some fans who’re waiting to see the Canucks leave.
So, I mean, I do know, and I’ve seen it. Like that, I do know there’s, at its height, the connection between Miller and the Canucks and the fans has been implausible. And I do know someone who was on the charity event last night who said to me, you never would have been in a position to tell, I do know Miller wasn’t there, but , you’d never have been in a position to tell that there was anything bad occurring the way in which that the players treated the fans.
And my point is that, , Jason and Mike like this stuff. They go up and down. There’s there’s phases where what was true today isn’t true tomorrow. And all I can inform you at this cut-off date was sometime Friday, Saturday, I believe the Canucks and the player thought he was going to the Rangers, and it didn’t occur.
