Bully Ray says Tony D’Angelo and Ridge Holland have all of the talent on the earth to seek out success on the WWE primary roster.
While speaking on a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Ray commented on the prospects of each men. He said,
“I can see Tony D’Angelo and Ridge Holland becoming something someday on the primary roster. Are they the following John Cena? I don’t think so. Not that they couldn’t be, because should you ever told me that John Cena was going to be John Cena when he was The Prototype, I probably would have laughed at you. You never know who’s going to transform what. But I liked what I saw with the opening of the show.”
During a recent appearance on the “Insight” podcast, former WWE Superstar Tom Pestock (Baron Corbin) commented on his belief that he’d be sent back to NXT after he poked John Cena in the attention during a match.
You may take a look at some highlights from the podcast below:
On the Bray Wyatt rumor: “There’s a rumor that I imagine is 100% true, that Husky poked John Cena in the attention in a match, and Vince [McMahon] was so mad, Cena was so mad, that they sent Husky Harris back to NXT.”
On his own incident early on the primary roster with poking Cena during a match: “I’m literally about to start out crying because I’m like, I’m finally on the primary roster, I’m home up here, now I’m going back to NXT… I turn around and John punches me dead within the face — like dead within the face — and, I mean it was a solid potato. After which, like, for the remaining of the match I’m trying to recollect these spots, but I’m trying to not cry because I’m like ‘I’m going back to NXT, I just got out of there.’”
On Cena’s response after the match: “John comes back and I just have a look at him like puppy dog eyes,” he recalled. “And he’s like ‘Hey, that was great.’ I am going ‘John, I’m so sorry,’ he goes ‘Ah, we’re good, I gave you it back, we’re good.’”
