We’re one week away from “Grand Slam: Australia”. Next week Buddy Matthews will challenge Kazuchika Okada for the Continental Championship, but tonight they’ll be face-to-face. Ahead of his tag match in Australia, Kyle Fletcher will tackle Mark Briscoe in a Continental Classic rematch.
Before Mariah May defends the Women’s Championship against “Timeless” Toni Storm, May will compete in a GLAMOROUS Exhibition match. TBS Champion Mercedes Moné will even make an appearance. Will she catch Harley Cameron’s Halftime Concert? A few weeks ago, Penelope Ford challenged Thunder Rosa they usually’ll finally face off tonight.
After Bandido returned last Saturday and took out Big Bill and put Bryan Keith through a table, Chris Jericho put a $200,000 bounty on Bandido’s head for The Learning Tree’s “Bounty Hunter”. Tonight, the previous ROH World Champion will tackle Keith. On “Dynamite”, Dustin Rhodes cut an electrical promo on MJF. He’ll be in motion tonight before he faces MJF on Wednesday.
Following weeks of confrontations and feuding, Shane Taylor Promotions will tackle Undisputed Kingdom and the team on Daniel Garcia and 2point0 in a 3-way Trios match.
Jon Moxley has something to say
While commentary was running down the cardboard, a security guard went flying through the shot. The camera cut to Marina Shafir, who was then joined by Jon Moxley. He said “the show starts after I say so.” He’s uninterested in Cope and he isn’t giving him a title shot. He has “hundreds of the reason why he doesn’t want to present him a title shot. Number One is I don’t love you.” He did accept the Brisbane Brawl with Claudio Castagnoli against Jay White and Cope.
Undisputed Kingdom vs. Shane Taylor Promotions vs. Daniel Garcia & 2point)
Shane and Roddy start us off. Taylor lifted Roddy before Roddy got in chops. Roddy kicked Shane within the face and KOR tagged in. He double clotheslined Roddy and KOR. STP teed off on KOR within the corner.
Daddy Magic tagged in and was arguing with KOR when Shawn pushed Daddy Magic into KOR, sending KOR outside. Cole took Shawn down with a pump kick while Magic jumped on commentary. STP had Cole of their corner. Cole sent The Infantry together. Daniel tagged in and punched Shawn within the corner. Carlie got added to the combo they usually each got right hands. Daniel and Shane went at it. Daniel tried a gut wrench and got headbutted. Shawn pulled Garcia out of the ring and left him hanging over the apron. Carlie did an elbow drop and Shane did a leg drop on Garcia’s back.
Following the break, Taylor and Garcia were exchanging blows. Garcia with a gut wrench on Shane. Garcia went to his corner, but The Infantry pulled 2point0 down off the apron. Then they double teamed Garcia. Garcia tagged in KOR, who tagged in Roddy and went after Carlie before tagging in Cole, who superkicked Taylor. Roddy and KOR clotheslined Taylor out of the ring.
Cole with a neckbreaker on Carlie, but Menard broke up the pin. Ang did a Gory Special on KOR. Shane kicked Garcia before Cole Superkicked Shane. Cole did his pose when Carlie rolled him up. Everyone within the ring is down.
All 9 men are within the ring and go after each other. Some fought on the skin. KOR did a backbreaker on Menard. KOR and Garcia exchange blows. Garcia with a side suplex. The Infantry beat down Garcia. Ang joined the fray and took out The Infantry. Taylor headbutted Ang and did a package piledriver. Undisputed Kingdom take down Shane. They sent him to the skin for a mixture move.
Cole missed the Panama Sunrise, but hit a running knee on Carlie and pinned him for the win.
Winner: Undisputed Kingdom
After the match, Yuta and PAC attacked people on the skin and focused on Cole. Claudio joined them and told Cole they desired to remind everyone who the true Trios champions are. Cole said he picked the improper team and Roddy attacked Claudio. KOR put Yuta in an ankle lock. Cole said he’s sick of Death Riders doing whatever they need. He challenged them for his or her titles on “Dynamite”.
Bandido vs. Bryan Keith
There was a backstage interview with Max Caster. He didn’t like Hangman Page being rude to him and he has to get behind the road. His open challenge returns on “Dynamite”.
Bryan Keith got here out in his “Bounty Hunter” gear. They exchanged blows and KEith threw his poncho onto Bandido’s face and kicked him. Bandido threw the poncho on Keith and put him in a side headlock. Bandido did a springboard off the ropes and followed with an armdrag. He dropkicked Keith’s face.
Bandido followed with a roll up for 2. Keith chopped him to his knee. Bandido got to his feet they usually exchanged blows. Bandido went up top, but Keith caught him on the best way down.
After the break, Keith did a back body drop, but Bandido caught him and rolled him up. Bandido did a tornillo from the highest. Keith got up quickly, but Bandido caught him and held him within the air with one arm before slamming him down. Keith bumped into Bandido’s foot and went up top. Keith with a rising headbutt. Keith went up top and superplexed him.
Keith chopped Bandido 3 times and Bandido responded together with his own chops and Superkicked him. Keith did an enzuiguri. They walked 10 paces and did stereo dropkicks to take one another down. They went brow to brow. Keith slapped Bandido, who picked up Keith and sent him all the way down to the mat. Bandido did a 21plex for the win.

LFI vs. Ares Alexander, Jay Alexander, and Brick Savage
Bryan Keith got here out in his “Bounty Hunter” gear. They exchanged blows and KEith threw his poncho onto Bandido’s face and kicked him. LFI’s opponents were already within the ring. Dralistco and Ares start us off, until Beast Mortos tags in and takes down Ares. Mortos with a back body drop. Dralisitico from the highest rope. Dralistico dropkicked Brick while Mortos dropkicked Jay.
RUSH tagged in and did a running dropkick on Ares within the corner. He pulled him into the middle of the ring to pin him. LFI attacked Area after. Brick fought back before Jay got within the ring and took a headbutt.
Winner: LFI
Komander did a poisonrana from the highest rope. He took out RUSH and Dralistico. Dralistico pulled Komander off the apron. They put him within the ring and began to take off his mask. The lights went out and a returning Hologram got a full entrance before making the save. LFI took out Hologram last October. Mortos took out Mortos. Komander and Hologram did stereo dives on Mortos and Dralistico. They brawled to the back and RUSH got within the ring with a chair. He threatened the ref before knocking out Mike Posey.
Houston Harley Halftime concert
Harley brought Puppet Mercedes along with her. She sang a song called “The Moné Train”. After a number of lines, the true Mercedes Moné got here to the ring. She said everyone got here to see her, not Harley. She began to call her a loser when Harley interjected “legend”. Harley began her next song. She sang that Mercedes is “afraid to feel the wrath.” Moné stopped her guitar playing and told her to “shut the hell up.” Moné said the puppet can probably wrestle higher than her and ordered her out of the ring. The fans chanted for Harley.
Harley said she will “only dream to realize in her profession what Mercedes already has”, but she is not stopping. She would love nothing more to wrestle Mercedes for the TBS Champion in Australia. Harley said probably the most entertaining Mercedes has ever been is “after I had my hand up your puppet ass” and hit Mercedes within the jaw with the mic. Mercedes relented and gave her a title match next week.
