During a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray commented on the recent release of Blair Davenport (Bea Priestley) and his belief that it may need had something to do with Davenport’s ex-boyfriend, AEW wrestler Will Ospreay, and his comments directed towards Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
You’ll be able to take a look at some highlights from the podcast below:
On WWE cutting Blair Davenport over Will Ospreay’s comments on Triple H: “Dave, remember how I’ve all the time said that professional wrestling is just like the mafia? They don’t screw with you, they screw along with your family. Perhaps Will Ospreay never should’ve made those comments about Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.”
On the way it still could’ve played into WWE’s decision even when the 2 aren’t any longer together: “Sure it could, absolutely it could, no doubt. Whether or not they’re together, I don’t know, they might’ve been together at one time. But yes, it absolutely would have something to do with it. Don’t kid yourself. You’ve never spent a day within the WWE. You don’t know the way they work.”
It must be noted that Davenport and Ospreay ended their relationship several years ago.
Ospreay is currently in a relationship with one other wrestler, Alex Windsor. Davenport is married to wrestler Josh Terry (Riley Osborne).
