Eric Bischoff Expects The Rock Will Throw A ‘Monkey Wrench’ In WWE WrestleMania Mix

With WrestleMania across the corner, there’s been plenty of buzz concerning the potential primary events for the two-night PLE, especially relating to the status of The Rock. Right now, it looks as if there’s little hope for “The People’s Champion” to make an appearance, let alone compete, but Eric Bischoff still believes.

“I still think The Rock’s showing up, I do,” Bischoff opined during an episode of his “83 Weeks” podcast. “I do not know the way it’s gonna fit, I do not know where he’s gonna go, I have no idea what the story is likely to be, but I shall be surprised if Rock is not one way or the other heavily involved.”

Bischoff said he has no real reason for his prediction apart from his gut instinct, which he trusts over his own reasoning.

“My instinct says Rock’s coming back, so we’ll see,” Bischoff noted. “Do I feel that there will be an official match with a bell? … He’s gonna throw a monkey wrench into something, I just do not know what it’s.”

“WWE has done such a great job of blending up the very top of the roster in order that it is very hard to predict and anticipate,” Bischoff added, using Jey Uso winning the Royal Rumble as an alternative of John Cena for instance. “Considered one of the things that at all times worked for me was believing that in case your creative is successful at getting people to take a position — should you can get people to ask questions? You own them.”
