Kai Cenat recently stirred some strong opinions on social media after weighing in on the Super Bowl halftime performance. The streamer rewatched Kendrick Lamar perform while content-creating on Twitch. He relied on the video that the NFL uploaded of the show on February 9.

A couple of minutes into the performance, Kai Cenat made an alleged remark and didn’t hold it back from his viewers. He claimed that the NFL might’ve added crowd noises to the uploaded version. In two days, the performance has collected over 46.1 million YouTube views.
“They add crowd effects, I didn’t know that,” Kai said, doubling down on his theory.
Later within the stream, he also claimed that the group wasn’t making any noise in the course of the parts that sounded loud within the video. “I’m just being honest. I used to be there,” Cenat added. Nonetheless, he did clear up when the audience got hyped: when Kendrick popped out, when he performed ‘Not Like Us,’ when SZA joined him on stage, and through Samuel L. Jackson’s ‘Uncle Sam’ monologue.
“The group was not good. They was just not f**king with the performance, like, up until ‘Not Like Us,’” he added.
Meanwhile, neither the NFL nor Apple Music have addressed the streamer’s allegations.
Kai Cenat Praises Kendrick Lamar’s Performance
Despite gagging over the alleged added crowd noise, Kai Cenat also gave Kung Fu Kenny his flowers for the halftime show.
“What I’ll say is, the symbolism behind that performance was top-tier. I’m not gon’ lie,” the streamer said, dropping an audio bomb effect on his stream!
