The rankings take note of a fighter’s wins/losses, quality of competition, ending rate/dominance and frequency of fights.

Fighters aren’t any longer eligible to be ranked after they have been inactive for twenty-four months, either because of injuries, drug/conduct suspensions, contract disputes or self-imposed hiatuses.

Fighters serving drug/conduct suspensions are eligible to be ranked, as long as they don’t seem to be inactive for greater than 24 months.

To the most effective of our ability, fighters will likely be ranked of their primary weight class. Catchweight fights and bouts outside the fighter’s primary weight class can have a positive or negative impact on the rating. Nevertheless, non-titleholders might be ranked in just one weight class at a given time, and most often, they will not be ranked in a brand new weight class until they’ve had their first fight at that weight.
