Sung by Divya Kumar, Sayee Gangan, and Sachin-Jigar, ‘Bande’ is delivered to life with poignant lyrics by the legendary Javed Akhtar, capturing the relentless pursuit of dreams against all odds. The song’s rousing energy complements the inspiring journey of Nasir Shaikh— an amateur filmmaker from Malegaon who dares to make a movie for the people, by the people. With its rhythmic intensity, ‘Bande’ hopes to resonate as a celebration of perseverance and hope.
Marking a major milestone for Tiger Baby Records, a music label helmed by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti and Ankur Tewari, Superboys of Malegaon represents the label’s first foray into the world of film music. The discharge of ‘Bande’, the film’s stirring anthem, exemplifies Tiger Baby Records’ commitment to amplifying compelling narratives through powerful soundscapes.
Directed by Reema Kagti and written by Varun Grover, Superboys of Malegaon is backed by powerhouse producers Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti under the banner of Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby. The film features an ensemble forged that features Adarsh Gourav, Vineet Kumar Singh, Shashank Arora, and Anuj Singh Duhan.
