Jake Paul was not comfortable within the aftermath of the largest boxing card of 2025.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer attracted 60 million people to Netflix for a fight with Mike Tyson in November, which remarkably went the eight-round distance despite their 30-year age difference.
Still, Jake Paul took issue with Joseph Parker’s quick win over heavyweight contender Martin Bakole.
‘The Problem Child’ praised the African heavyweight’s courage but slammed his team after watching him get stopped in two rounds after agreeing to step in for IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois on a few days’ notice.
Jake Paul slams Martin Bakole’s advisors
In accordance with Joe Rogan, Bakole was probably the most feared heavyweight in boxing before taking over Parker.
But traveling internationally to box a former world champion with no notice was an excessive amount of for him.
Paul thinks Bakole should’ve been stopped from taking a career-high payday to face the Recent Zealander.
“My man flew industrial flights to point out up and fight among the best on the planet,” he tweeted.
“Fair play to his courage but shame on his advisors.”
Despite Paul’s thoughts on his latest fight, Bakole was grateful for the chance that got here his way.
“Big because of you all in your support,” he wrote on social media. “And massive because of his excellency @turkialalshik for the chance and well done to @joeboxerparker. See you all in #America in May.”
Jake Paul misses out on Canelo fight
Paul’s salty tweet about Turki Alalshikh’s latest card could have something to do with Canelo Alvarez.
The 28-year-old influencer was believed to be on the verge of booking a fight against Canelo, with boxing promoter Eddie Hearn publicly claiming the fight was done before things fell apart on the last minute.
Ultimately, Canelo opted to sign a four-fight take care of Alalshikh as an alternative. It’ll see him face William Scull in a four-belt super middleweight clash this May before squaring off against Terence Crawford in September.
Unsurprisingly, the news didn’t go down too well with Paul, who launched a verbal onslaught against the person he’s all the time claimed he desired to fight.
The social media star raged: “Breaking news: Canelo Alvarez ducked me, Jake Paul, and is now an owned slave with no regard for the pride of the Mexican individuals who support him on US soil.
“It’s not surprising, when his whole profession, he has done nothing for the game of boxing outside the ring. I’m the brand new face of boxing. You can’t have the largest fight of 2025 without my name involved.
“When all your events tank and lose money, you’ll all realize who the king of the game is. 28 years old. Biggest fight in boxing history. My very own boss. Not owned. Five years in. All of you felines need to see me fail, but God has other plans. It’s the era of fine. The era of the elephant. It’s the era of MVP.”
