Simon Guobadia, Porsha Williams’ estranged husband, is reportedly in ICE custody. In response to US Weekly, Guobadia is currently being held at Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia. U.S. Department of Homeland Security records obtained on Friday, Feb. 21, confirm his detention.

Us Weekly also shared that authorities have listed Simon Guobadia’s status as “in ICE custody.” His detainment follows President Donald Trump’s mass deportation plan, which he enacted at first of his term in January.
PageSix notes that Guobadia moved from Nigeria to america in 1982 and is accused of overstaying his visa. Atlanta’s WSB-TV-2 adds that authorities allegedly declared him deportable in 1985. Right now, Simon has not commented on any statements regarding his status.

Before news about Simon Guobadia’s reported ICE detainment broke, The Shad Room noted that Porsha Williams posted a message on her Instagram Stories. In her post, she expressed being bothered by Simon’s decisions but emphasized she still plans to give attention to her family.
“It’s disheartening to appear my estranged husband make decisions which have led to this consequence. At this moment my priority is moving forward with my family,” Porsha wrote.
