Mikel Arteta is hopeful Bukayo Saka might be able to make his Arsenal comeback after the international break.
The England international has been out of motion after he sustained a serious hamstring injury against Crystal Palace in early December.
After undergoing surgery for the primary time in his profession, Saka step by step worked his way back to fitness and reports earlier on Sunday claimed he could make his return before the tip of the month.
Arsenal are back in Champions League motion in midweek before they entertain Chelsea on the Emirates next Sunday but don’t play again after that until April 1.
Asked for an update on Saka’s fitness after Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United, Arteta said: ‘After the international break let’s see where he’s.

‘His progress is de facto good he is de facto willing as we will imagine. We’re positive that in a number of weeks hopefully he might be back.’
Arteta might be desperate for his star winger so as to add the form of dynamism and threat was sorely lacking against United on Sunday.

‘Sometimes that’s what is missing,’ Arteta said about his side’s lack of innovative.
‘The execution must be in to the proper player and the proper player to shoot. How we conceded [chances] in certain moments was not acceptable.
‘They’ve a lot quality and so they pick the proper player and normally that may end in a goal.
‘We opened the gate to lose the sport. there was no probability to lose the sport and we opened it ourselves. I’ll defend my players on a regular basis but in those moments we have now to do higher.’

He added: ‘After we had the primary half that we had where we were exceptional, we didn’t test the keeper.
‘We had some unbelievable situations but we didn’t get the last shot or the last pass.
‘We didn’t capitalise, we rushed the sport, we began to lose duels and we could have ended up losing it.’
