Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor are set to collaborate on a project soon. On Tuesday, Alia Bhatt, who’s married to Ranbir, took to her Instagram to share an “exciting” update along with her fans. She revealed that the 2 actors will probably be teaming up for a project, with more details to be unveiled on Wednesday, March 12.

Alia shared a video of herself holding a poster featuring Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor’s photo. The poster described their collaboration because the “ultimate blockbuster” and teased that they might present the “best rivalry” on screen.
Alia captioned the post, “A battle of one of the best! Two of my favourite actors w̶i̶t̶h̶ against one another. Stay tuned for something very very exciting…more deets coming tomorrow. P.S. I do know you’re going to find it irresistible as much as I did!!”
Alia’s announcement sparked a wave of pleasure amongst netizens. Fans quickly flooded the comments section to indicate their support for Aamir and Ranbir. One fan wrote, “Legends collaborating,” while one other commented, “Omg I just can’t wait.”
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are also set to collaborate on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, which can even feature Vicky Kaushal within the lead role.
In a previous exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Alia shared her excitement in regards to the film and her reunion with Ranbir, saying, “I, as an audience, am more excited to see him [Bhansali] and Ranbir collaborate again, after so a few years. I’m like, ‘wow, what’s that going to be like?’” She also spoke about reuniting with Vicky Kaushal, saying, “Vicky and I coming together again; Ranbir and Vicky created magic with Sanju. So, it’s loads of mixtures.”
“At the top of the day, the intention is to maintain your head down and work hard. Not let the opposite excitement get in the way in which, because the joy in regards to the film and the fabric is crucial. When you find yourself on set, you simply have to offer your 180 percent,” she added.
