After Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and Akele Hum Akele Tum, there may be a really strong possibility that Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan may get together again.
Aamir Khan-Mansoor Khan might do their fourth film together; latter desires to adapt his book ‘One: The Story Of The Ultimate Myth’
Confirming this possibility, Mansoor told this author on the eve of Aamir’s birthday, “Yes, there may be a possibility. The thing is, my sensibility has gone some place else now, and that is effective you realize. I’m not underestimating the audience. I actually have written two books. My second book is the book ‘One: The Story Of The Ultimate Myth’, which I need to convert to a movie. Please read it and then you definately’ll see where the problem to convert it to a screenplay arises.”
He added, “Aamir loves the book. But I would like to take a seat with him. And work it out. Each time now he’s got distracted. What I would like is complete concentration. I wrote a second draft of the screenplay, which was more cinematic you realize and he had a difference of opinion with me. I’ll clean up my plate and from June. I’m totally on this. I clearly told him that should you and I disagree on the screenplay, then I won’t do the film.”
Mansoor regrettably needed to miss Aamir’s 60th birthday celebration. “I’ll miss it because I actually have some very urgent work. That is sad because he got here for my 68th birthday. The entire family. I used to be going to return. I used to be hoping to God it is not a giant fat Bollywood party,” he said.
