It has been 2 hours since I watched Abhishek Bachchan and Inayat Verma’s Be Completely satisfied, and I’m hanging in a classic dilemma – the heartbreaking confusion of to be or to not be. I mean, to be honest, after I first watched the trailer of the film, I used to be very much impressed. I used to be looking forward to observe the film for 2 reasons – A. Abhishek Bachchan was my crush once upon a time and B. I loved his chemistry with Inayat Verma in Anurag Basu’s Ludo.
Do you see what I’m doing there? I’m still attempting to make while I make my head concerning the film – whether I liked it or not. I mean, how brutal will I sound to not like a movie that’s so high on emotional quotient? Truthfully, it’s. When it starts, it starts with a bang, and I’m totally invested within the film till it reaches the climax!
Okay, so I actually have made up my mind, and I’ll take this journey together with you dissecting the film, and doubtless, we’d together reach a conclusion about whether I liked it or not and the way much I liked or disliked it (in just a few moments)!

Be Completely satisfied Movie Review: Script Evaluation
Be Completely satisfied starts with a dream, a dream of a cute kid called Dhara, who desires to be a dancer someday. She is a single child being raised by two men – her father, Shiv, played by Abhishek Bachchan, and her grandfather, played by Nasser! Dhara madly idolizes Maggie Ma’am, a longtime dancer in Mumbai who trains kids to take part in the largest dancing reality show – India’s Dancing Superstar!
Now, Dhara and her father are at loggerheads about Dhara’s selections and dreams, and so they will not be specializing in their studies. She is an adamant kid who tries every trick within the book to persuade and emotionally blackmail her father, telling him – “Mummy hoti to kart.”
The story captivates you immediately with Inayat’s quirk and charm. Meanwhile, Nasser adds more life to the frames along with his endearing Nana duties towards her grand-daughter while his son-in-law, Abhishek Bachchan, continues to be coping with the lack of his wife and only respiration not living!
The premise for Be Completely satisfied is a predictable setup – a young girl, her dreams, a strained father-daughter relationship, their coming together to make the dream possible, and a life-altering incident that changes their entire goal!
Be Completely satisfied Movie Review: Star Performance
Abhishek Bachchan literally shines because the struggling single father, attempting to fill the void of a mother as well. In one in all the scenes, his emotional breakdown is heartbreaking. But even his honest and sincere effort cannot save this ship that starts sinking within the second half! Inayat Verma is a show-stealer, though, personally, I actually have an issue with kids not acting their age, but I’d blame that on the writing part! Nasser impresses, and even Nora Fatehi holds the story as much as she will be able to! But none of them can assist the story from falling!
Harleen Sethi, because the dead mother is refreshing on screen but doesn’t add any value! In reality, even Abhishek Bachchan dances in one in all the sequences, but it surely may need been the worst idea, to be honest! He struggles and struggles badly! And that struggle is visible on screen!

Be Completely satisfied Movie Review: Direction, Music
Remo D’Souza has often delivered good content, apart from Race 3, for obvious reasons. But ABCD and ABCD 2 were decent watches. Furthermore, the music and dance numbers in these movies made an impact. Be Completely satisfied starts on an important note and holds well but gets lost somewhere in between while the film changes track from Ooty to Mumbai! It keeps oscillating between two plots – the connection of a father and a daughter and just a little child’s dream to take part in a dance reality show and perform within the grand finale! Now, that is where Remo D’Souza loses the plot and balances each! Not one of the two plots shine. What’s more disappointing is that the story literally runs between the episodes of the fact show and Dhara’s life-changing medical emergency!
The music album of the film is sweet but surprisingly, while hearing the jukebox, I used to be very sure that these songs would make sense with context within the film but it surely all turns a disappointment since not one of the songs have been properly placed or used. In reality, it’s so strange that a movie that talks about music and dance doesn’t have proper dance sequences.

Be Completely satisfied Movie Review: The Last Word
Be Completely satisfied doesn’t work in its entirety due to its lost plot, despite being essentially the most predictable plot. The film shines in moments but nothing is smart after a degree. Not impressive enough dance sequences in a dance film is an utter failure. Abhishek Bachchan and Inayat Verma’s dance piece must have been a show stealer, but truthfully, all of the dance reality shows on Indian Television offer better-choreographed dance sequences, better-edited music, and higher camera shots!
For me, the film I used to be attempting to love all this time seems to an absolute sham when drama takes over a life-threatening medical situation, a lot in order that Abhishek Bachchan’s father behaves in essentially the most irresponsible manner. I mean, drama is sweet, but Remo D’Souza may not realize that life and death situations can’t be won with dramatic and emotional decision-making acts that serve because the climax! Life and its struggle with the tip is real, and nobody can Be Completely satisfied the tip coming closer!
PS. What’s with the name of the protagonist? Is it only me or not one of the characters were clear about Inayat Verma’s name and kept calling her something in between Dhara and Dhaaraa!
2.5 stars!
