Aamir Khan turns 60 years tomorrow, on March 14. On this special day, the superstar spoke to the media in regards to the milestone and lots more. He was asked about his much awaited film, Sitaare Zameen Par, and shared some exciting details.

Aamir Khan began by saying, “It is a sequel to Taare Zameen Par (2007). However the characters and situations are different. It’s the sequel to the thought and theme of Taare Zameen Par. In my view, the thought behind Sitaare Zameen Par is ten times ahead. The large difference is that while Taare Zameen Par made you cry, Sitaare Zameen Par will make you laugh. It’s a comedy but baat bahut gehri keh rahi hai.”
When asked in regards to the release date, Aamir Khan revealed, “We’re announcing the discharge date tomorrow (on his birthday). I don’t remember. Principal bhool gaya!”
Sitaare Zameen Par also stars Genelia Deshmukh.
