Billy Horschel was capable of sum up the day and its conditions perfectly along with his on-course interview with NBC Sports analyst Cara Banks.

“I even have no God honest control of my golf swing and do not know where the golf ball goes at once,” Horschel told Banks.

“I’m attempting to get into the home as fast as I can.”

Horschel was capable of get back inside, but not before ending 5-over 77.

Gusts were reportedly as much as 25mph, making an already tough course nearly not possible to navigate.

J.J. Spaun battled the winds to take a one-shot lead heading into Sunday.

He shot a 2-under 70 on the day,

Lucas Glover, currently tied for third, also spoke on the windy conditions.

“It’s pretty razor thin around here anyway,” Glover said.

“And then you definitely add in 25, 30 miles an hour with some gusts, it shrinks things much more. I did a superb job where I used to be missing for nearly all of the day, and there was a pair holes where you simply cannot miss.”

Will Zalatoris was having himself a day before all of it went sideways.

Within the span of an hour, Zalatoris went from being tied for the result in 10 shots behind within the blink of an eye fixed.

Rory McIlroy also chimed in, after ending the round with a 73, 4 shots behind the lead.

“Many of the dropped shots were from around-the-green mistakes somewhat than tee-to-green,” McIlroy said.

“I felt like I hit the ball pretty much, controlled my flight.

“Not out of it by any means.

“The wind is imagined to still be blowing tomorrow, so yeah, it was nice to birdie that simply to get one closer to J.J. on the last.”

The forecast shows strong wind again on Sunday through the final round.

It’s as much as Spaun to see if he can hang on and take home the $4.5 million purse.
