Jennifer Lawrence and her husband, Cooke Maroney, are stepping out amid speculation that they’ve officially added a brand new member to their family with the arrival of their second baby.
The pair were spotted out in Latest York City on Sunday, March 16, per photographs shared by People. Lawrence, 34, wore a shawl and a navy trench coat, which she paired with a leopard print toe bag.
Us Weekly has reached out to Lawrence’s reps for comment.
The Oscar winner, 34, and the art gallery director, 40, have been together since 2018, they usually tied the knot in October 2019. The couple are already parents of son Cy, whom they welcomed in February 2022.
Us confirmed in October 2024 that Lawrence was pregnant with baby No. 2 after she was spotted showing off her baby bump while out to dinner in Los Angeles.
Although Lawrence has opted to maintain her family life private, she has previously opened up about how parenthood modified her.
“My heart has stretched to a capability that I didn’t find out about. I include my husband in that. After which they’re each just, like, on the market — walking around, crossing streets,” she told Vogue in October 2022. “He’s gonna drive someday. He’s gonna be a silly teenager and be behind the wheel of a automobile. And I’m just gonna be, like, ‘Good night!’ You already know? Like, who sleeps?”

She continued, “The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had began over. Like, now’s day certainly one of my life. I just stared. I used to be just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies in every single place. Newborns are only so amazing. They’re these pink, swollen, fragile little survivors.”
Despite her newfound joy, Lawrence admitted to fighting “mom guilt” as she attempted to balance her work schedule with the demands of parenting.
“Day by day of being a mom, I feel awful,” she shared during a June 2022 “Actors on Actors” interview for Variety. “I feel guilty. I’m twiddling with him and I’m like, ‘Is that this what he desires to be doing? Should we be outside?’ We’re outside [and I’m like], ‘What if he’s cold? What if he’s going to get sick? Should we be inside? Is that this enough? Is that this developing your brain enough?’”
As Lawrence and Maroney found their footing as first-time parents, Us revealed in June 2023 that they were considering expanding their family.
“They’re fascinated by having one other child,” a source exclusively told Us on the time. “At first they weren’t sure in the event that they wanted one other one since it’s a lot work, but they’re obsessive about Cy and love showing off videos to their family and friends. They’ve began warming as much as the opportunity of a second.”
