Teyana Taylor fed it to her fans straight about reports claiming she wanted Iman Shumpert in jail. She denied ever saying that and likewise spoke openly about giving her ex-husband grace. And still, Teyana said that he hasn’t made it easy. Now, she says he’s paying to flow into divorce tea to advertise his art and isn’t doing anything to defend her when the trolls start wilding.
To date, Iman hasn’t dropped one other project or released a press release. But he did share a couple of visuals on social media after Taylor went IN on the subject.

Iman Shumpert Chooses Visuals Over Words
Shumpert went the route of a carousel on Instagram in what’s reading in the web streets as a response to Teyana. We’ll get into that recap soon. But as for Iman, his captionless post went up on Instagram. The primary slide was a photograph of him fixing his chain; the second was of him sitting next to the automobile, his phone. His third post is a video of him on a set, and the fourth is a video of him and Teyana’s daughter falling asleep. The last post was a repost about being a Cancer–his zodiac sign.
“Cancers don’t get mad; we get upset…which is worse,” the post said. From the way in which he’s still guarding his words, it looks like Iman still isn’t coming to his ex-wife’s defense as she allegedly asked.
Teyana Taylor Pops Off About Jail Request Reports
As mentioned, Teyana put her face on camera to shut down a couple of narratives about her relationship with Iman. Then, and now. Wednesday’s live video was the primary time we’ve seen Tay pop off in regards to the tough moments of their divorce process. She talked about Iman Shumpert, missing mediations, and forcing them to undergo the court.
“I’ve been nothing but solid to that man, and all I ask for is for him to get up for me. You see what’s happening? You see, that’s not true. If I might’ve filed that motion, I might’ve needed to proceed to cope with this,” Teyana said. Adding that she has multiple project releases coming, and coping with the divorce rumors just isn’t IT.
“And [the rumors] is all the time conveniently coming out when Iman has a song or a brand new enterprise his way. I’m not here to discuss any of our personal business. I’m here to discuss what is precisely on the web that’s making me appear to be I’m some form of villain.”
Teyana Taylor also reiterated that she never asked for Iman Shumpert to go to jail. The singer said she desired to avoid all this public attention on their divorce. From the start, she wanted privacy and now she’s irritated.
