Shep Rose has strong feelings in regards to the lack of time Paige DeSorbo spent on trips with Craig Conover prior to their split.
In the course of the Southern Charm season 10 finale, which aired Thursday, March 20, Rose, 44, took aim at DeSorbo, 32, while chatting to Austen Kroll.
“I’ll say it. I’ll say something. I believe it’s total f—ing bulls–t that Paige didn’t go on one single trip while they were dating,” Rose said.
He added, “I couldn’t get away with that if I had a girlfriend, I’ll inform you that much.”
Kroll, 37, tried to defend DeSorbo, insisting she had tried to make the trips work. Throwback clips showed DeSorbo turning down Southern Charm trips because of other work obligations that clashed.
Rose was unconvinced nonetheless, raging, “What silly a– talk show? You get your a– and also you film along with your boyfriend. It’s incomprehensible.”
DeSorbo and Conover, 36, dated for 3 years before they called it quits in December 2024.
In the course of the first episode of the two-part finale, Conover shared more details of the previous couple’s break up.
“Paige and I had an amazing Thanksgiving together. Like, every thing was normal at her parents’, like our chemistry and like, every thing…” Conover said. “Then a pair weeks later she called me and was like, ‘We gotta talk.’”

Conover confirmed the decision took place before Christmas and recalled the way it felt within the moment.
“I used to be like, I can’t consider that is like happening,” Conover. “And it was really calm. She’s like, ‘I would like to search out myself.’ And he or she’s like, ‘I even have to take control of my life again and we’d like to interrupt up.’”
Meanwhile, DeSorbo also reflected on her relationship with Conover this week, claiming she “tolerated an excessive amount of” while speaking in regards to the romance on the Wednesday, March 19, episode of the Summer House after show.
“I believe obviously if you’re in it you may’t see it the best way you see it if you’re out of it or the best way your mates see it. And I believe I loved him a lot that I tolerated an excessive amount of,” she said. “Now that I’m out of it and I look back on things, I’m like, ‘Oh wait.’ Anytime I had a profession milestone, he found a technique to make it about him.”
DeSorbo broke the news of her split with Conover in December 2024 via an episode of her podcast, “Giggly Squad.”
“Craig and I even have decided to now not be together,” she said. “I really like him, I believe he loves me. I believe we are going to remain friends. Nobody did anything. It wasn’t a nasty thing. I believe we each were just being really mature and saying what we wish and what we didn’t want, and I believe that’s extremely powerful to give you the option to voice the way you’re feeling in real time and what you would like in your future.”
A month later, Conover spoke out via social media and hinted that he didn’t see the split coming.
“I figured it’s finally time to examine in with everyone. Sorry in regards to the delay, this has all been very, very unexpected to say the least. But I assume I gotta start living again, whatever that appears like. Whatever my latest normal looks like — I even have to start out,” Conover said via his Instagram Story in January. “‘Gratitude will get you thru this, with time comes clarity’ – all the advice, I’m attempting to take heed to.”
