How Assassinations Work
Before we dive into how you must approach the primary story, let’s detail how assassinations in Shadows work. After you beat the prologue, Naoe will put together a giant objective board featuring 11 Shinbakfu members that she’s going to take down. These missions are multi-stage affairs that require some prep work with allies before a final confrontation that typically has a boss fight.
There are literally 12 members on the Shinbakfu board, but one among them is worn out within the prologue and doesn’t actually matter.
Outside of the primary two assassinations that eventually result in Yasuke joining the team, Shadows gives you loads of free reign with regards to taking down targets. The one thing stopping you from doing every one is your character’s level, which hints at how tough the questline and fights can be. That is good, though, because it means there is a suggested order to take things in.
The Wounded
Considered one of the primary proper targets you may get in Shadows known as The Wounded, and you’ll need the choice to take them on alongside The Golden Teppo. Each are around the identical level of difficulty, but The Wounded introduces you to how assassinations work just a little more clearly, so it’s the higher one to go for first. You may also get a legendary naginata for beating this one, which is a giant boon because it’s Yasuke’s best weapon.
The Mourner
Speaking of Yasuke’s backstory, The Mourner is one other goal that gives you loads of insight into the samurai’s past, in addition to being the following lowest-level goal on the board. They’re also one among the few targets within the Shinbakfu that could be spared towards the tip, making it a bit more unique than the others.
The Noble
At this point in the sport, you may be pretty used to assassinations which is nice since the following goal, The Noble, is where things begin to get a bit tougher. The leadup missions are just a little shorter than with previous targets, however it all comes right down to one among the longer final quests in the sport. Get this one out of the way in which next, and the remainder of the missions will go by swiftly.
The Ox
Considered one of the more basic assassination targets in Shadows is next up on our list – The Ox. The Smart

For those who’ve made it this far, you are on the finish line for Assassin’s Creed Shadows and about to take down the ultimate member of the Shinbakfu – The Horseman. That is the briefest goal in the sport and doesn’t even have any combat or missions attached to it, but that will not matter since he’s also last in line.
