Ankit Gupta kickstarted his profession in Balika Vadhu in 2012, nonetheless, it was during Udaariyaan that he rose to fame. After gaining popularity, the actor participated in Bigg Boss 16 which made him a household name. While Ankit has been actively working, in real life he’s an introverted one that prefers staying away from the limelight. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Ankit Gupta shares how he handled the limelight and states how he prefers maintaining privacy on social media around his personal life.
Ankit Gupta on maintaining privacy amid limelight
The Junooniyatt actor shares how he handled limelight and a spotlight through the initial phase of his profession. Ankit says, “Initially, in fact, the primary time after I saw a lot love, I didn’t understand anything. I didn’t even know find out how to handle it. But then I stayed like how I’m. I’m a really private person. I don’t prefer to share my private life with anyone. So initially, people used to even ask me, ‘You don’t share or post anything on Instagram.’ Now they understand. But thoda sa shuru shuru mein hua tha. Phir abhi sabko aadat pad gayi hai, mujhe bhi aadat pad gayi hai. (It was just a little difficult initially. Then, regularly, everyone got used to it, and I also got used to it).”
When asked Ankit, why he isn’t much energetic on social media, he says, “I’m not a social media person. I haven’t posted anything greater than a month. But one thing I actually have began doing is that the flicks and shows I actually like, I post about them on stories. I had last put up a story for Superboys Of Malegaon as I discovered it to be a stupendous film. All of the outsiders are there in that film and so they did such beautiful work. Even technically the movie was so great. And I actually imagine that if movies starring outsiders work, then only other outsiders will get opportunities. Producers and directors can be willing to take a probability if their movies work.”
