Jon Jones has announced an enormous change in his profession as talks proceed to stall over his potential UFC title unification fight against Tom Aspinall.
Since successfully defending his title against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309, Jon Jones has repeatedly received criticism from the UFC fanbase regarding his next move.
Ever since Tom Aspinall won the interim heavyweight title at UFC 295 at the top of 2023, Jones knew that he would likely should unify the title against the British star.
Despite that, the consensus biggest fighter of all time has repeatedly delayed that fight from happening, with Jones more recently claiming that he needs six months to arrange for the fight.

Jon Jones becomes co-owner of UFC rival promotion
With fight talks continuing to stall, Aspinall has concerningly revealed that he’s open to fighting another person as an alternative of continuous to attend for Jones to return.
And with that fight seemingly no closer to being officially announced this Friday afternoon, it was surprisingly announced that Jones has turn out to be the co-owner of Mike Perry‘s combat sports promotion, Dirty Boxing Championship.
The promotion held its inaugural event this past November, behind closed doors, as former UFC star, Yoel Romero picked up a win of their first-ever essential event.
Jones was in attendance for the event and provided a shocked response to Romero’s KO.
Now, following in Conor McGregor‘s footsteps, because the Irish star became the co-owner of BKFC, ‘Bones’ is scheduled to be in attendance for his or her first official event this coming weekend DBX1.
“I used to be hooked from the primary show. I consider that is going to be a powerhouse of combat sports. I’m proud to sign my name next to it,” Jones said regarding Dirty Boxing Championship (h/t TMZ).
Yoel Romero to headline first official Dirty Boxing Championship event
The timing of the 37-year-old’s involvement comes quite fittingly, because the promotion is ready to host their first official event this coming Saturday, March 22.
Yoel Romero is scheduled to tackle Ras Hylton within the essential event, with fellow UFC legend, Andrei Arlovski set to clash with Terrance Hodges within the co-main event.
The blockbuster event takes place from The Hangar at Regatta Harbour in Miami, Florida.
