Channing Tatum is sizzling and shirtless – and pleased with it!
The actor, 44, took to social media on Friday, March 21, to flaunt his chiseled physique after working hard to shed some kilos.
Tatum shared a series of images via Instagram which featured himself shirtless, including a photograph of what he looks like currently after working hard to get his body in tip-top shape.
“We back up! lol. 1st photo is today 205 [pounds]. 2nd photo 235 for a movie called Josephine. Then went to third photo which is 172 for a movie Roofman,” he captioned the post. “I’m so grateful for my genetics. Grateful for my chef/nutritionist/witch. Grateful for my trainer. I couldn’t make these big swings in my weight without you guys.”
Acknowledging how tough it was to get ripped after purposely putting on weight for his movie roles, Tatum declared he was done putting his body through the ringer.
“But I won’t be doing anymore fat roles haha. It’s too hard on the body and too hard to take off now,” he explained. “But rattling once I have a look at these pics it’s just wild what the human body and can can do.”
Tatum has previously been candid concerning the grueling lengths he has gone to to be able to maintain his physique.
“I even have done all types of bulls–t to get in or stay in shape. Almost every little thing you possibly can consider. And I even have to say nothing yet has been more suffocating and exhausting and effective than freestyle wrestling or open ocean water swimming,” Tatum revealed in May 2021. “There are moments in each that I’m all the time like I believe I would die haha. Yup pretty sure I can’t go on let go could be higher than this.”
During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show in February 2022, Tatum shared how tough and potentially unhealthy it may well be to look as ripped as he appeared within the Magic Mike movies, where he played a stripper.
“That is likely to be the rationale why I didn’t wish to do a 3rd one, because I even have to appear to be that,” Tatum told host Kelly Clarkson.
He added: “It’s hard to appear to be that. Even for those who do work out, to be that sort of in shape — it’s not natural.”
When Clarkson, 42, asked about “eating well,” the Step Up alum insisted that the food regimen needed to appear to be his Magic Mike character just isn’t beneficial.
“That’s not even healthy. You’ve gotten to starve yourself. I don’t think if you’re that lean, it’s actually healthy,” he claimed.
