A viral video circulating online suggests that Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ajinkya Rahane missed the team bus because it departed from the stadium to the hotel. Rahane, who was recently appointed as KKR’s skipper, will probably be leading the side this season.
Initially going unsold in the primary round of the auction, Rahane was later picked up by KKR within the accelerated round for his base price of ₹1.5 crore. The Mumbai batter previously represented the franchise, scoring 133 runs in seven matches before being ignored of the squad.
