Amy Schumer has revealed that she’s back on a brand new weight reduction drug after her “horrible experience” with Wegovy that left her feeling nauseous for years.

Schumer recently shared a candid health after opening up about her struggles with a weight reduction drug.
The “Trainwreck” actress took to Instagram on Friday to disclose that she’s back on a brand new drug, Mounjaro, praising it for the “good experience” it has afforded her.
“Mounjaro’s been great,” she said within the video, explaining that the medication is not covered by insurance unless a patient has diabetes or severe obesity.
“Which many of the web thinks I even have,” she joked. “But I’m having a very good experience with it and I desired to keep it real with you about that.”
Earlier within the video, Schumer detailed how she tried Wegovy for 3 years but was left feeling nauseous.
“I could not handle it. I do not know in the event that they’ve modified the formula, whatever,” Schumer said.

Although each drugs are used to assist with weight reduction, Mounjaro has been FDA-approved to treat type II diabetes, while Wegovy hasn’t.

Elsewhere in her Instagram video, the “Kinda Pregnant” actress announced that she was in premenopause, the period between a lady’s reproductive years and menopause.
Schumer also used the chance to discuss a telehealth company that makes a speciality of health for girls above 35.
“They put me on estrogen and progesterone … and my symptoms from being perimenopause have disappeared,” Schumer, an investor in Midi Health, claimed.
“My hair is fuller, my skin is healthier, I even have more energy, I need to get down more, when you know what I mean. I’m talking about sex,” Schumer added.

Schumer first opened up about her use of weight reduction drugs in 2023 and encouraged other Hollywood bigwigs to stop “lying” about taking it.
