World’s Strongest Man winner Eddie Hall has called for a brand new 2v1 MMA ‘freak fight’, and he has two ambitious names on his mind.
Former strongman Hall made his MMA debut last summer against the Neffati Brothers in a bizarre bout where he outweighed each men put together. He’s now set to face veteran fighter and fellow World’s Strongest Man winner Mariusz Pudzianowski in a more legitimate KSW contest.
Hall just isn’t keen to make a profession of fighting after a lengthy run in strongman, but he’s keen to make the most important fights. And none would come greater than a 2v1 with controversial YouTubers-turned-boxers Logan Paul and his brother Jake Paul.
Eddie Hall wants 2v1 ‘freak fight’ with Jake Paul and brother Logan Paul
Expected to weigh in in at a whopping 155kg, or 341lb on fight night when he faces Pudzianowski later this month, Eddie Hall is a real giant of a person. Even Jake Paul’s wildly heavy 227lb against Mike Tyson last yr pales compared, as does Logan Paul’s last fight weigh-in which was sub 200lb.
While Hall is locked into taking legitimate fights on KSW, there are provisions to permit for him to fight in other 2v1 bouts. And he desires to take a much greater challenge, taking up the 2 brothers with years of boxing and wrestling experience.
Speaking with Ariel Helwani on his show on the Uncrowned network today, Hall explained: “Jake Paul and Logan Paul, I’d like to get them in a cage together… I believe it could be very uneven, 100 per cent [I would kick their a–], powerbomb, smack them straight across the jaw. That’s it.”
Jake Paul was because of fight Canelo Alvarez this yr
While Logan is concentrated on his profession within the WWE ring, Jake Paul continues to be looking out for an opponent next after his historic win over Tyson. That bout on Netflix smashed viewership records for boxing and even crashed the streaming service at some points, so his next move needs to be a giant one.
He had been working on a gathering with Canelo Alvarez for months, and the pair had even begun shopping the bout to broadcasters. Nonetheless, on the last minute the boxing icon opted for a multi-fight take care of Turki Alalshikh that might include a crossover clash with Terence Crawford in September.
There have been also moves being made towards an exhibition with Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, but his draw with Lamont Roach Jr meant that won’t be happening either. Paul is signed to the PFL for his MMA future, and will perhaps take interest in facing Hall.
