FKA Twigs announced she’s been forced to tug the plug on her upcoming U.S. tour dates, including her Coachella slot, on account of “visa issues.”
Taking to social media, FKA Twigs (real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett) shared an announcement announcing the news via her X and Instagram accounts on Friday, April 4.
“I’m devastated to share the news that on account of ongoing visa issues i’m not capable of see through any of my scheduled tour dates for the rest of april across north america, including ceremonia and coachella,” she wrote within the post.
The British singer, 37, went on to share her disappointment at the event and promised to make it as much as fans.
“It pains me to say this because I’m so excited to bring you a creation that I even have poured my soul into and I consider is amongst my strongest work and I do know this news impacts so a lot of you which have already made plans and spent money to be able to see these shows,” FKA Twigs continued.
She added: “I promise that I’m working to reschedule the affected dates as quickly as possible. for headline shows, please discuss with your point of purchase for details and refund information. back to you all with more updates as soon as i’ve them — within the meantime listed here are a few of my favorite parts of the show that we worked so hard to create ❤️”
Alongside the announcement, she shared a carousel of images showing her previous performances.

FKA Twigs was slated to perform at weekends 1 and a couple of at Coachella in Indio, California this month in addition to this weekend’s AXE Ceremonia in Mexico City. She also had scheduled shows in San Francisco and Recent York City later this month – all of which is able to now now not go ahead.
The announcement comes after Brazilian singer Anitta also dropped out of Coachella, citing “unexpected personal reasons.”
“I used to be really looking forward to being at Coachella this yr, but on account of unexpected personal reasons, I won’t give you the chance to perform. I’m truly grateful to the festival for the invitation, their understanding, and continued support,” the singer, 32, wrote in an announcement shared via X on March 20.
She continued, “I hope to have the chance to affix you all in the longer term and share that special moment together.”
Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott are headlining Coachella this yr, which takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California across two weekends: April 11-13 and April 18-20.
Other artists scheduled to perform include Charli XCX, Missy Elliott and Megan Thee Stallion.
