A British dad fell off a stool and died in front of his father and friends during his stag do in Benidorm, a witness claims.

The 29-year-old from Halifax, who has not been named, was sat on a bar stool at Funk Flamingo when he fell backwards, hit his head and died.

He was as a result of get married next month. He died on March 22, but his dead has just been made public today.

‘His friends were in shock for the primary minute or so’, bar manager Gaston Luciano told MailOnline.

‘Then it hit them what was happening, they were emotional and crying.’

It just isn’t yet clear what caused the dad-of-one’s sudden death. Spanish police have described it as ‘some kind of medical problem’.

They said: ‘He was treated by those present on the premises after which by the paramedics who responded to the decision. The medical causes of the death are unknown.’

For roughly an hour, Gaston and medics tried to save lots of the young man.

He said: ?I was doing CPR with the help of another customer, he was responsive for around 60 seconds and then there was nothing. We tried for around 15 minutes before the ambulance arrived, then they took over and worked on him for another 45. ?They gave him a shot of adrenaline and connected him to a machine, they did everything they could, it was so sad. ?His friends were in shock for the first minute or so and then it hit them what was happening, they were emotional and crying.? Gaston said he spoke with the young man?s father, who told him the family were from Halifax and that he had a son. He added: ?The guy and his fianc? were due to get married in May, he was so young. 'The father said he had already had a heart attack in England five years ago when he was 24.?

Gaston said: ‘I used to be doing CPR with the assistance of one other customer, he was responsive for around 60 seconds after which there was nothing.

‘We tried for around quarter-hour before the ambulance arrived, then they took over and worked on him for one more 45.

‘They gave him a shot of adrenaline and connected him to a machine, they did all the things they might, it was so sad.’

It’s not the one stag do to take a dark turn on this popular tourist town in Alicante, Spain.

Just two weeks ago, Jason Taylor, 36, vanished from Alicante-Elche Airport where he had been as a result of catch a ten.30am flight back to Birmingham.

He was found three days later. His boarding pass had been rejected.

Jim Clark, a 33-year-old from Scotland, was killed on the primary night of his stag do in March 2019.

Friends described him as a ‘lovely lad taken too soon’ after a fight broke out in a bar.
