GloRilla Had Coachella Fans In a ‘Diva’ Chokehold

During her performance, Gorilla took a while showing like to considered one of her faves — none apart from Beyoncé. Joined by her ten backup dancers, she decided to include the viral YouTube mashup of ‘Diva’ along with her song ‘TGIF’ into her setlist. The 25-year-old took a second to compose herself before the infectious beat kicked in, with Glo hitting every step of that iconic choreography like she was born to do it, okay! But that wasn’t all. GloRilla apparently isn’t trying to end her reign on the rap charts either, as she teased a brand recent song. While the name of the track stays unknown, in a clip that’s being widely shared on X (formerly generally known as Twitter), a sample of Keyshia Cole’s hit song ‘Love’ may be heard in the beginning as GloRilla mouthed along to the chorus. She proceeded to walk across the stage as she began rapping lyrics to the song, spitting bars concerning the fellas in her signature style.

The TL Was Living for Glo’s Glow-Up

Judging by the reactions on X (formerly generally known as Twitter), it was clear as day that GloRilla had left her fans feeling proud, with some reflecting on the expansion she’s made since her debut with ‘F.N.F’ back in 2022.

One X user, @cbfwari, wrote, “seeing glorilla perform the song she blew up for at Coachella is so iconic LIKE SHE REALLY MADE IT.”

One other person by the name @AkaniButNoJeezyy echoed similar thoughts, tweeting, “Glorilla went from being nervous acting at the BET awards to acting at Coachella,” together with a meme that had the caption “Growth” written on it.

A 3rd person named @KG01123266 continued, “Idc. Missy Elliott, Tyla, Glorilla and Lisa had the very best Coachella performances. IDC!!!!!”

She’s No Stranger To Paying Homage

In relation to paying homage to the ladies who inspired her within the music industry, GloRilla really appears to be that girl who’s going to provide her faves all their flowers.

Back in March, the Fenty Beauty ambassador surprised fans by performing En Vogue’s hit song, ‘Giving Him Something He Can Feel,’ while on tour. Wearing a black sheer bodysuit, she mouthed along to the words while playfully teasing the group as she danced up on two of her male dancers.

Prior to that, GloRilla had also paid homage to the late Gangsta Boo following her passing in 2023. That very same yr, Glo commanded the Coachella stage for her debut and honored the Memphis legend during her performance. For her tribute, she and her dancers turned as much as Boo’s ‘Where Dem Dollas At.’
