Harry Brook’s appointment as England’s latest white-ball captain was the apparent call.
There had been speculation that they might bring someone in from outside the group, corresponding to Sam Billings or James Vince to guide the side, but the choice was telegraphed when Brook pulled out of the IPL last month.
I believe he’s the suitable man for the job.
There was some concern about Brook’s workload provided that he plays for England in all three formats, and further down the road that would potentially grow to be a difficulty.
