Mercedes Mone has run right into a travel issue ahead of this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
As she prepares to face Athena within the semifinals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, Mone took to Twitter to disclose that her wrestling gear is currently stuck in customs. Despite the setback, she continues to be scheduled to compete on the show.
Mone wrote, “My gear for #AEWDynamite is stuck in customs @DHLGlobal Let’s all pray that it gets here in time.”

Konnan recently expressed that he’s a fan of Claudio Castagnoli but isn’t completely happy with how AEW has been booking him.
Speaking on a recent edition of his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, Konnan criticized Castagnoli’s current role within the Death Riders stable, which incorporates Jon Moxley, saying that he feels the wrestler isn’t getting used to his full potential. He said,
“I like Claudio as an individual, but I’m not involved in him or anything they’ve done with him, which is unlucky. Remember after they first got here in, they brought him in like this monster? Take a look at him now.”
Castagnoli competed on last week’s AEW Dynamite, teaming with Wheeler Yuta in a tag team loss to HOOK & Samoa Joe of The Opps.
