Esha Verma, the stepdaughter of television actress Rupali Ganguly, has opened up about her emotional struggles, stating she faced harsh scrutiny for revealing the reality about her family dynamics. She identified herself as a ‘nepo baby’ who has spent her life within the shadows, coping with confusion and pain that was not hers to bear.
Recently, Esha shared her emotional turmoil on Instagram, she expressed, “When your personal family desires to destroy you for just living your life”. She continued, “Some days you’ll be able to feel okay, while other days you’re feeling completely shattered. You get scrutinised for wanting to talk your truth, after which questioned with, ‘Where the fu*k did you go?’ It’s hard when your personal family seems intent on causing you pain for simply attempting to live your life. I’ve been striving for happiness, but these issues remain unaddressed.” She emphasised the negativity she faces from those that thrive on drama.
Currently residing in Latest Jersey, Esha conveyed feelings of isolation as a ‘nepo baby’ raised amidst silence and confusion. “When the reality finally surfaced, I used to be blamed for it. I felt scared and unprotected, and as an alternative of receiving support, I faced shame. After months of harassment, I’m selecting to face my ground,” added Esha.

She emphasised that she is just attempting to live her life, yet social media users persist in targeting her, often indulging in drama that doesn’t involve them and rallying behind someone she characterises as fictional. Esha expressed her concern regarding the toxic nature of online behaviour and voiced her hope that others is not going to should endure the experiences she has faced. Moreover, Esha revealed that she continues to be mourning the emotional lack of her father. Not through death, but through the absence of affection and support.
Esha Verma Alleges Rupali Ganguly
Esha made serious allegations against Rupali, claiming she was answerable for the breakdown of her parents’ marriage. Verma detailed that Ganguly had even visited their home in Latest Jersey, sleeping within the bed shared by her parents. In response to Esha’s allegations, Rupali Ganguly issued a defamation notice in search of Rs 50 crore. It claimed that Esha’s statements have harmed her status and profession.
Esha is the daughter of Ashwin and Sapna Verma. They were married in 1997 and separated in 2008. Ashwin remarried twice before wedging Rupali in 2013. They share a son named Rudransh.
