Cathy Kelley, well-known for her work as a WWE backstage interviewer and tv host, is reportedly entering into a brand new role inside the company — this time as an in-ring competitor.
In keeping with a report from Pwinsider, Kelley has been training on the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. While she has primarily been seen as a broadcast personality, sources indicate that she’s taking her training seriously and exploring the potential of transitioning to an in-ring profession.
Kelley returned to WWE in 2022 after a transient hiatus, resuming her duties as a backstage interviewer. Since her return, she’s been featured on Monday Night RAW and has remained a outstanding face in WWE programming. Now, it appears she’s trying to expand her involvement within the wrestling business.
There’s no official word yet on whether WWE plans to debut her as a competitor on television, but her training on the Performance Center suggests there could also be larger plans within the works.
