Who do the players consider to be probably the most overrated player in your complete league?

Indiana Pacers star point guard, Tyrese Haliburton.

The 2-time All-Star received 14.4 percent of the vote, followed by Minnesota Timberwolves’ Rudy Gobert at 10 percent and Atlanta Hawks’ Trae Young at 8.9 percent.

Haliburton clocked in at 3.7 percent last 12 months.

After leading the Pacers to the Eastern Conference Finals last 12 months and winning a gold medal with Team USA over the summer, players across the league appear to consider his play and hype have not warranted the eye he has received.

Thirty-three players received no less than one vote, which surprisingly included LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Haliburton helped lead the Pacers to a 50-32 record, which was adequate for fourth place within the Eastern Conference.

He played in 73 games and averaged 18.6 points, 9.2 assists and three.5 rebounds.

Haliburton and the Pacers are currently underway of their first round series against Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.

The anonymous poll also highlighted other topics.

56.1 percent of the players voted Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as MVP, with Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic at second with 37.4 percent.

There was also an amazing favorite to win the title (with the caveat that you just couldn’t vote for your individual team).

The Boston Celtics were first with 57.7 percent of the vote.

“Their team chemistry is great,” one player said.

“They’ve loads of superstars on that team, they usually consistently know their roles, they usually sort of put their egos aside and just win games.”

While the anonymous poll is at all times a fun exercise to have a look at and dissect, at the top of the day, it is a poll with no names behind it.

Haliburton can prove all 14.4 percent of his naysayers mistaken with one other deep postseason run.
