Anthony Edwards‘ ex-girlfriend, Alexandria Desroches, also publicly often called Ally D., has spoken on his alleged absence and financial contributions to their 1-year-old son, Amir, amid their ongoing child support case.

On April 15, In Touch Weekly published an exclusive report asserting that the outlet spoke with Alexandria Desroches and her attorney. Through the conversation, per the outlet, the mother of 1 and her legal counsel, Al Hedayati of the Hedayati Law Group, spoke on Edwards refiling their child support case.

“[This case is about] any person who has superior financial power attempting to suppress [Ally’s] rights and play games,” the lawyer reportedly told the outlet.

Hedayati reportedly explained that Edwards has allegedly been “stringing Ally along for years with guarantees that he never followed through with for the past 12 months and 4 months.” During that point, Desroches reportedly added that Edwards never met their son.

On the financial front, Desroches alleges that she received a one-time payment of $20,000 from Edwards in November 2023. This reportedly follows their son’s birth in October 2023. Then, in December 2023, Desroches allegedly received an undisclosed sum from Edwards for the vacations.

In 2024, Desroches reportedly told the outlet that Edwards’ voluntary payments fluctuated between $5,000 and $7,200. Nonetheless, she and her lawyer consider the NBA star ought to be paying “substantially more” for the care of their son. Per the outlet, Desroches reportedly stated that her intention is just not to “live off” Edwards.

“She is raising a baby as a single mother and has an open-door policy for [Anthony] to see the kid,” the lawyer reportedly noted, adding their hope for the kid support case to be amicably resolved.

In line with the outlet, Anthony Edwards and Alexandria Desroches met in 2020 and pursued a non-exclusive, but romantic relationship. In January 2024, he reportedly asserted his paternity to Amir and requested joint legal and physical custody of the infant. Moreover, he reportedly requested that a monthly child support payment be determined by a court.

Months later, nevertheless, the petition was reportedly dismissed. In Touch reports that this was because Edwards didn’t serve Desroches with the petition.
